No Hypervisor or VCED
Traditional VDI solutions like VMware View or Citrix XenDesktop simply bring Windows clients to the server then deploy a complex and resource intensive layer called "hypervisor". We do not believe that this type of architecture can scale to large deployment while still making TCO makes sense. Traditional VDI with a Windows architecture and a hypervisor layer require up to 5GB of storage per new virtual desktop instance.
